Was a program with Michael Johnson a few years ago suggesting slavery speeded up evolution, and one of the reasons why American/carribean athletes are so quick.

I also read somewhere that the awful process of slavery ensured that only the biggest and strongest people would be picked and traded by the slave owners, and given the chance to procreate etc.
This has been dramatized on films such as 12 Years A Slave, and also on Django Unchained, where we saw slaves lined up and 'shown off' for having good physical attributes.
I also read that the reason there seem to be lots and lots of extremely attractive women from Eastern Europe is because of the wars that have occurred there. As the men all went off to war, some returned, some didn't. The ones that did return home were severely outnumbered by women, and could pick and choose the most attractive to 'make babies with', and the less attractive ones were left childless.

Dunno how true these theories are, but a good story teller never lets the truth get in the way

Most people can work out basic differences and advantages from one race to another due to how we developed.Good try at linking it to people having issues with racism

There are plenty of poor countries all over the world who can’t sprint . Take the poor Asian countries. Most of them apart from a couple of niche sports, don’t produce athletes..
If it was purely down to economics, the North East would all be the best sportsman in Britain ,

That sounds like shite, what is considered attractive changes over time.

Wouldn't be surprised if war didn't kill nearly as many people as things like disease and famine. Childbirth used to be risky as fuck too, that probably evened things out.

Heritage with type 1 muscle fibres and predominantly born at locations with high altitude (Kenya , Eithopa ) most WR at distance .
