The numbers fluctuate according to the current diet (I stood with 8K in the 80’s v Oxford Utd at RP) but given the shite we’ve endured it’s remarkable that we continue to support and in such numbers. With the square root of SFA to look forward to.

I get your point but this is not just a case of losing PL fanboys, we have been so shit for so long at the top level, many have simply had enough, even if we had stayed in the PL. I didn’t renew last summer as I just felt mentally and emotionally drained going to watch that rubbish again and again, but as this season has gone on I’ve started to go more and more, and I’ve already decided I’m getting my season ticket back next year. I just can’t leave the club behind.
