ESPN Cricinfo's respected, award-winning writer George Dobell is being sued for his attacks on chairman Colin Graves' regime — with ECB lawyers Onside Law threatening a defamation case via an initial letter of claim.

Dobell not commenting on twitter but being openly discussed by others. It’s a tough one: who do you support? An award winning journo who holds an autocratic governing body to account? Or those crooked bastards who stole our points

Maybe they're using the libel laws in the same way that Murdoch did - and a big reason for that was simply to make journos think twice and maybe back off before writing something controversial.
