Would you take Smith or Warner for Durham?

Absolutely. As much as can’t stand the fuckers somebody (probably Surrey) will take them and benefit from two top players. If they helped us get promotion and perhaps a trip to lords why not? Use the fuckers for what they are.

I thought they were banned from domestic cricket too?

Or is that just australian domestic cricket that they meant.
Just domestic.

Although if they remain under the Oz central contracts system they'll need agreement from Cricket Australia - which should be a formality.

Edit - they are allowed to play club cricket in Australia.

I couldn't care less, it is not why I like cricket, domestic cricket especially, I want to see local lads given the chance

not 2 cheats, but more importantly 2 absolute shit blokes.

It won't be a formality at all like.

Hmm, if they refuse they could be sued for restraint of trade which was a possibility in the Stokes case.

I think it will come to that, I just can't see them letting them play, remember Australia are in England at the same time this summer.

I can't see Smith getting into a legal war with CA for example, I think he will keep his head down

I doubt neither side will want it to come to that.

I doubt CA will want to punish them more than they already have.
