My mistake marra, realized after I posted

Some of the kids on here wouldn't kna who Yosser was marra.

Don't be daft......we barely stayed up in 12-13 by winning at QPR in the penultimate game, and on the last game of the 14-15 season (it was his team). Pardew was also manager when we beat you 5-1 so in that respect, did better than Benitez.

As for your so called 'evidence'.......read the Michael Martin piece. He states about 10 other reasons why Pardew was hated here, before his derby record is mentioned. You've actually destroyed yourself with you own evidence man.

You're all over the place, give it up.

I'm all over the place? That's yet another outright lie from you.

You should read my post again mate. At no point did I tell you how you felt about pardew or robson, or did I lie about sir Bobby.

Some of your early crowds that promotion season dropped to around 37k. 15k short of capacity. They picked up at the end of the season when you were pissing the league. So yeah to say they dropped off by 10k is entirely accurate.
You have to be clutching at straws when you can't even bring yourself to use the official average attendance figures, maybe the day you are talking about the game was on the TV, there had been heavy snow and the buses were off hahaha.
usually if you are discussing attendances for club for a season you go with the average which was over 43k

like I say instead of spending your time on google trying to pick holes in Newcastle's attendance figures why don't you keep some time aside to go to the Sol and cheer your team on. It only lasts and hour and half and if you're pushed for time you can leave on 60 minutes with the rest of the crowd.

If the figures he quoted are accurate they must have picked up pretty quickly or their capacity ,'at the end of the season' must have been enough to hold all 75000 screaming Geordies!

Was 36k the first home saturday game, which was televised. This was also the lowest gate of the season.
The following Wednesday for example we got 43k against Sheff Wed. Was usually 38k for a midweek game and 43/44k for weekend games, with the gates creeping up a bit more towards the end.

Fixtures with attendances here

They pretty much only built a statue of him because he died of cancer. Trying to latch on to the good name/will he carries in football. As if that somehow reflects on them.
I bet there isn’t another football club in the world that has a statue/dedication to a manager/player that never actually won/achieved anything at their club.
