Were you one of the many fans that were booing prior to when he was sacked, or did you not attend the games back then?
Yes I was going back then.
I have never ever booed my team ever, I accept fans have the right to do it but it's something I hate is i believe it has no positive value.
At the time I thought we should be looking for a replacement come the end of the season, I felt he was getting to old and the players where taking advantage of it.
I think the man is a legend, he was an absolute gent and a giant in the game.
I think the way the club treated him at the time was appalling, that was at board room level.
I think some of the players had started to take the piss, I remember Dyer for example out right refusing to play in the position bobby told him to.

Yes there was booing at the time as there always is when the team is playing shit and getting beat, that happens everywhere. I don't recall it being aimed at Bobby in particular, more just the team and the shit performances but it was quite a few years ago now.

If you want to know what your average Newcastle fan thought of Bobby Robson check out how many turned out for the charity match he arranged not long before he died.

To be fair not getting that doesn't make me a bit thick, it was fair to assume you were referring to me not the entire crowd at the charity game. How am I meant to know you where referring to the last line of my post and not the full thing.
If you wish to draw the conclusion that those people attended the charity match out of guilt and not respect for the man himself that's up to you.
I find it a little strange that on one hand you lads are saying what a fantastic bloke he was but on the other hand refusing to admit that he was legend enough to win the hearts of the Newcastle fans.

A little sad the lengths you guys will stoop to to try and have a go at your rivals. If you had the same passion on your own terraces as you show for having a pop at Newcastle you might inspire your team to be a little less shit.
