Top top man sir Bobby. Was treat dreadfully at Newcastle. My vehicle body repair business did the work for lady Elsie really nice lady. She told me they took two apprenticeship players to live with them as they had no way to stay for a long period of time. Can you imagine any top manager doing that now.
 
Gosforth Mackem sold his soul. It is ridiculous he even uses the term 'mackem' as his username. Newcastle boy these days. Smiths not happy.

IIRC hundreds of security had to protect him from a pitch invasion where the jawdees tried to beat him to death at an England/Germany friendly played not long before he passed away.

IIRC his dad hated Newcastle so much that he used to go to Sid James and stand in the home end so he could fart and make them all inhale his guts.

Shearer got him sacked,told fat Freddy he was over the hill and that was it.

I think people here are overblowing their fans wanting him out,I think they just felt torn about it,but some thought it was time to move on. From what I remember. He did some brilliant transfer business for them mind,I think it's easy to forget that.
