Anyone played against premier league players as a youngster?

Andy Linighan, Lee Makel, Alan Thompson.
Thompson and Linighan were stand out excellent. Best player I played against was a lad called Steven Lewis for St Cuthberts at junior school level.

Played against Paul Kitson at school boy level. He was just better than just about everyone else. Dropped a clanger signing for the mags tho.

Fraser Forster was in the year above me at school. Wasn't anything special at the time but he was about 6'5 when he was 15 years old. He kept me out the school team for a while and I'm not bitter about it at all.

Played against Charlie Adam and Ross Wallace as a youngster, needless to say they were miles better than the rest, bizarrely their team also included Sam Robertson who went on to play someone in Coronation Street.

My brother played against Brad Guzan in high school. Guzan was a big, ugly striker back then.

I played against Kitson when he played for Houghton Airies.
Also played against Steve McManaman in the ESFA cup.
