Unfortunately the days of the Sunderland match being the only show in town are long gone. Kids can play video games online hell a lot of kids these days just like watching people play video games online. TV shows and films on demand every football game around the world streamable at the type of a keyboard....

We are losing more than a generation we are losing our identity we are losing our future. Down the pisser it goes into league one

Bizarre. Most young uns just want to watch live football regardless. Unless you mean teenager, in which case they just want to go to get pissed.

We will be, my dad wouldn’t have had it any other way when I was a bairn like but at least then we were semi decent under Reid.

With the current lot how can you convince a bairn to love a team with all the social media etc pushing them towards good players and good football.

Would you want to put your child through something like this?

f***ing sick of the club at the minute
I wouldn't.

My lad can go support who he wants.

Apart from the Mags, of course.

Wished I had been afforded the luxury rather than having this load of shit bestowed on me.

Mine is 16 and has the safc bug. Hates them for 10 minutes after the game then looks for the next fixture. Revels in his reputation with his mates at school as a die hard.

I thought he was gonna cry today after the second went in. He was f***ing raging.

Couldn't get my son there today, doesn't want anything to do with the club, I fear we may be losing a hell of a lot of young fans.
I took my two today, had comps for Quinn’s bar, they loved it and still want to go to the wolves game despite the result, also when I have taken them via the family section they have loved it, I’m not sure this era is going to ruin a generation, I think it is more likely to educate a generation

My 13 year old is to con/bribe/drag to games now. It's not that he likes any other team or prefers to a support premier league team, he's just like most of us, disillusioned with the professional game. Yet take him to non league and he's happy as anything.
