For me he was the voice of YCCC. Loved listening to him, I'd often seek the Yorkshire commentary out if we had no game or were off for rain or whatever, mainly due to Dave's excellent commentary.

Aye echo those sentiments mate. As much a sound of summer for me as TMS and the sky lads and as I say a top bloke to boot.
