As much as they are usually very dull to watch and play with negative tactics their second goal was superb. Defence to attack in seconds to finish the game. Pace, awareness and clinical. Fair play. Didn't think they had it in them. Twats.

At first this comment may seem like a cynical dig but the thought is that I wonder if this is a sign of Southampton’s coming fall... there are some parallels...and it’s certainly what happened to us from Fish Lips to Tufty (and the start of Benítez’ tenure).

I was over the moon with that. Soton have been a bit of a bogey team for us, right back to Matt Le fkin Tissier. Huddersfield next and I'm not feeling comfortable about them either. On their day they're good, and it's always "their" day at SJP
