Rapped the place in a couple of year back as it has become stale and shite. Closed to new users meaning no new blood was the killer in my opinion. So many cracking threads been lost over the years.

There are more mags posting on here than posted on Skunkers, in its halcyon days it was a great forum full of spite, pettiness, vitriol, and the odd death threat thrown in for good measure.

Also mainly self moderated which meant healthy debate on all subjects meant it was a refreshing change from other forums.

Didn't pretty much exactly the same thing happen about 10 year ago?
I haven't been on for a while but it used to be decent craic to be fair.

This. Just half a dozen blokes wanking each other off and wouldn’t let anyone else join in.
 
Great place, killed by Facebook.
Once everyone became friends on there telling people that you wished them and their calliper wearing families died in a house fire seemed a bit off and the heart was ripped out of it a bit.
