Little things that annoy.

People that tell you they’re not very good at / can’t drive in snow / wet / dark conditions, yet proceed to do nothing about it. Once they’ve passed their test, that’s it, no attempt to improve or consolidate skills they learnt when they passed their test.

Lass in the office (no)asked how you drive in snow. “What do you mean, high gear, low revs?” If in doubt, google the fucker before heading out, putting everyone else in danger.
I need a bit of advice . I've just been out with the car . We live up a long steep hill (ice, snar etc.,) I did manage to get up it but was spinning the wheels and could smell burnt rubber when I eventually got the car on the drive . I don't know whether to charge up it as fast as I dare, like I've just done or take it easy . If I take it too easy it tend to stop moving . The car is front wheel drive with snow tyres on . If the council would salt the f***ing road I'd be ok .

I know someone who uses the expression "but that's by the way", rather than "but that's by the by".
It may well be correct, I have no idea really, but that's by the by.

People who don’t say thanks when you let them pass or keep a door open for them. We have had a lot of new starters at work who have no manners what so ever. I have now started saying your welcome, and I get hacky looks.

You should really be saying "You're welcome!".

I've got a friend who loves to use 'to cut a long story short' - then she never bloody does! 'It was Tuesday, no - it was Wednesday cos I remember I'd just put the bin out...' etc etc.

And another one she uses 'You'll laugh at this...' No one ever has.

Actually, she's not really my friend but a friend of my sister's.
