Because the availability of tickets will be incredibly tight due to supporters of Newcastle United actually attending games ;)
Aye you've had to put up with 12 successive seasons of shit eh ??

Not 100% accurate. I personally led a 1 man invasion of the West Stand when we beat you 1-0 (Solano Pen if memory serves).
Obviously I behaved myself and did not celebrate the goal however, as you lot failed to either eject me or batter me, I consider it to be a victory.
Did not enjoy and have not / would not repeat.
Your red and white scarf saved you.

6 back to back derby wins and a Wembley cup final appearance. You don’t know you’re born mate.
Ha ha never knew mags cud be amusing;).
You might think you've had it tough under Ashley since he became owner, but a 5th place in PL, Europe, some very good signings and not always battling relegation ?
Think I know whose been luckiest between me and thou lad:lol:

Your last sentence is incorrect.
??????

Your red and white scarf saved you.
Say nowt @Kid Galahad @Porridge :lol::lol:

After this weekend Newcastle will, most likely, be back in deep relegation trouble. They have Ashley's signing, Slimani, out again so will have to go to Anfield with the 3 stooges. When you're playing in the PL and Gayle is your top striker you know you're just making up the numbers.

Shelvey injured his knees at Bournemouth by continually resting his hands on them. He'll definitely miss the Liverpool game and possibly the next few.

I suspect the Mags will have enough to keep them occupied by the end of the season.

Before my time this, were our lot there to cheer on Brighton or Newcastle? The commentator says Newcastle

Is it because we have a life???

I was in milburn stand for play off 2 nil game.
Good few safc went up when Gargoyle scored and were then set upon. Evil atmosphere that night. You knew something would go off if /when we won.

Good mate of mine managed to get a ticket in the Gallowgate for the game at St James' when the away fans were banned. Said a couple of cheers went up within earshot of him when Mickey Gray scored, my mates arse dropped that much when a Mackem was identified and escorted out by stewards that he actually stood up with the rest of them around him shouting 'Gerrim' oot' so that his undercover identity would be further enhanced....

Thanks for posting that. Brought some memories back for me and my old mag mate.

Hope you weren't anywhere near the group of Sunderland fans in the paddock that these Brighton fans remember causing trouble...

"And does anyone remember a few rogue Sunderland fans near us in a corner, desperate for us to lose, and/or cause trouble?"

"In the May 1979 game at Newcastle, I recall a dozen Sunderland fans near our end in the Leezes side terrace trying to get to us. Desperate for us to lose. We stopped their promotion. Incredible that they were surrounded by Newcastle fans."

We needed Brighton to lose to Newcastle and us to win at Wrexham to go up.

Tbf Reiv, their key player has turned out go be Lascelles.
If owt happened to him, I think they'd be in trouble. I used to think he was a bit of a donkey, but he seems to be the main man there, and FSW seems to really rate him.

He's a very good player and exactly the type Sunderland should've signed instead of high priced/high waged mercenaries.

Benitez hasn't signed anyone as good tbh.

Why wolves? Is it because they are a good team who are top of the league and therefore a reasonable chance of seeing us lose at home?

its exactly that, they could come to the Burton game, the home match before that, when Newcastle are playing away and its more likely that our relegation will be confirmed them (can't see it going down to the last day meself), but then theres a small chance of us beating Burton and them looking like even bigger muppets.

i reckon if we are relegated by then, or are in with a chance on the last day, there will be a few hundred come down just for the crack. sad bastards that they are, if they keep themselves quite and no aggro occurs, then i dont see the harm in it or the point in it.

if they really want to take the piss, then they will have to let themselves be known, and we know that they wont, rendering the whole thing pointless. unless they genuinely just want to watch a footy match

Why don’t they just hire a plane like everyone else?
