I don’t think a petition helps. He wants to sell anyway. Telling him he is unpopular doesn’t change that

Some on here use different fonts. Others use colour or capital letters. I reckon bullet-points could be your thing.I must apologise for this post. No excuse, but I was on the sauce all day yesterday and turned into a blithering idiot!

Exactly. Feel the force of Courier New. And then some formatting...Like a special power?
The fans anger is raised due to inept performances on the pitch. Supporting your team is the basic requirement. The machinations behind the scenes aren't something supporters should really be concerned in as our opinions and decisions are based on illogical passion and love for the club.I don't think any one thing alone is going to force Short to sell, but the more we stand up for ourselves - petitions, protests, etc - the more the local and national press pick up on it, the more it highlights the issue and the more pressure it puts on the club.
Caulkin and Luke Edwards both ran stories for the nationals about the situation recently. In the space of a few days we saw Short drop the asking price from £80m to £50m, then to £0 and Bain cancel the Q&A with WMS.
I don't think any of that would have happened a few weeks ago, but the fans are noticeably more angry than they were then. And at the end of the day it takes what, 30 seconds to sign it? Less time than it takes to start the thread actually.
Do you think we're being and have been well run, Bill? The fans anger is raised due to inept performances on the pitch. Supporting your team is the basic requirement. Short will sell at some point and the next person will move in to the big chair.

In no way whatsoever. But neither could I point a finger at what exactly went wrong. I have opinions but as I say they are skewed by my love for SAFC. Bob Murray was a fan and got stick. Ellis Short has provided money to a certain extent and got stick. There must be a happy medium somewhere.Do you think we're being and have been well run, Bill?
I'm pretty sure an owner running is into the ground, getting us up to the eyeballs in debt then doing a runner isn't a happy medium. In no way whatsoever. Have never denied the right to complain. Complaining is the right of any fan. Petitions and banners are vomit inducing attention seeking.I'm pretty sure an owner running is into the ground, getting us up to the eyeballs in debt then doing a runner isn't a happy medium.
At what point ARE we allowed to complain?
