Very difficult to change mentalities at a club in a relegation battle. Just hasn't got the attacking players available to him

Which makes it quite incredible that people were seriously tipping him for the England job.
I know the other contenders aren't great but the sight of Pardew smarming around in his 3 lion blazer would be cringing.
Didn't he do "ok" at both Southampton and West Ham until he...well, rumours. He obviously has a level.

I'd sack him if I was the owner (or certainly at the end of the season if they don't have anyone in mind). He was brought in to try and go on one of his weird winning runs and not as a long term appointment for them to rebuild in the Championship should the worst happen. With 1 win and 5 draws in his 14 matches, this hasn't happened.
