I was wondering who would be the first knacker to come on bragging because he or she has seen us properly shite once before 30 years ago. Same patter last year. Embarrassing. Fuck off.
 

Normally I'd think relegation is just a backward step. For most of us relegation has been a positive thing and things could only get better. Under Reid we had the SoL and 2 great seasons with the 105 points. The 19 point season we had a mini revival under McCarthy. After the 15 point season Quinn and Keane came in. Even after relegation under Smith we had hope and got to a cup final in 92.

But we never had back to back relegations. We don't have anything positive to cling on to and there is a real threat than we could end up in the football wilderness for years to come. Or worse!
 
The idea that being hard and not making your feelings known is pathetic. Just deal with being shite - it's what we we are.

Typical Sunderland fans attitude "I've seen it worse, I remembering being in the North Counties league with 7 players and no kit we played with our cocks out"

Like it gives fans some sort of brownie points.
