Sometimes the right manager can just get the best from an average looking lad...hope this is the case with Honeyman...lets wait and see...we have few options

He is a tidy player, finds a Sunderland player with most of his passes, wriggles his way out of trouble and is quick to turn in the middle of park. He can beat a player (this has dried up as the season has progressed but we know it is there) and he gives his all and is always showing in the middle of the park.

No idea why he seems to be so hated on here, he's a decent player at this level and is definitely good enough for the bench when all are fit.

tbf it was his passing and movement that created the goal on saturday. He makes mistakes (lots at times) but at least he tries to make something happen and take some responsibility on the ball.
 
Embarrassing thread for too many - when will they learn there are shades of grey between black and white (and no i'm not talking about an unwashed mag shirt).

Lets hope when Maja and Asoro have a couple of duff games and miss a few sitters that the abusers don't come for them.

He's inexperienced and has played in nothing but shit sides with the likes of Rodwell telling him what to do.

Now he's doing things his way he seems to be improving.

First team football, that will be why. He'll be good in situations like this but going forward we need to look elsewhere.
