There's a cafe down the bank at Roker anarl, Sue's I think but I haven't been for years, not sure if you can eat in?

Had a look on FB, you can only sit and eat outside. Sue is a wad mind

The Bungalow food is awful imo. Mad Hatters is good on Sea Road.
