I'm a bloke you knows a lot about the case not just what the media want me to know, that's all, just trying to give a bit context to what you have posted. I'm not defending what he has done.

you couldn't help but read the case as it was playing out in the media. the things ive said are only things that were documented during the case

how on earth does sidneyeric know that it was 1 pic that a mate sent him, that information is only going to be privy to anyone involved with the case and that certainly wasn't documented anywhere in the media

You need to give up, this thread is getting you no where and isn't worth the hassle!

For what it's worth to me you aren't defending him but are merely stating things that prove some of what people are saying is wrong.

One thing that never made sense to me was how that teaching assistant at about same time got a suspended sentence for having sex with a 15 year old pupil, it was later overturned and she was given about 6 months.

It highlights the way society views women grooming and having sexual activities with boys as not as bad as men with young girls.

I bet there are blokes on here who slate Johnson as a nonse but read those story's and joke "why wasn't there teachers like that at my school?"

Oh and I'm not defending him I'm just a believer in judges should give out similar sentences for similar crimes!

I seem to remember that this was mentioned as not being the case and he was attracted to her in-spite of her age, not because of it. It was also mentioned that he was shagging women of all different ages at that time. A horrible bastard but not someone who was attracted to young girls, per se. He didn't even know the age of consent.

May I point out, I'm in no way defending him.

Wth sex offences, especially children, acquittal is one thing. Public perception is another.
