He wasn't done up like a kipper. He was guilty because he broke the law by indecently assaulting a child. He pleaded guilty.
As the old saying goes, if you can't do the time don't do the crime.

bottom line is yes , when he gets out he is entitled to get on with his life and find work ( not that he needs to )
but it won’t be football or anything else where children are involved

Im old enough to know that theres no way a guy on the sex offenders register for a conviction against a child will get anyhere near working with children advising them on the crime he was convicted for
You can spout rehabilitation and probation all you want but its your thought process suggesting he will be some modicum of society upon release that is absolutely staggering
