Agreed he can not ever play again for anyoneCan't believe this hasn't been snipped yet. What's the point in him being discussed to this length, he's history.
He can go and work in a fish factory or something, but abused his privileged position as a footballer and should never play the game again. Tough shit, he can earn money the hard way like the rest of us.
He will play again for someone....
Shame Catts and co don't realise this!
There is a difference released ex offenders are free to return to their tradeIf he wants gainful employment upon release he should face the same difficulty as all ex cons. In fact it should be harder as he is also on the sex offenders register.
You surely dont believe byrne made that decision on her own?Need to move on from this whole minging episode.
Thankfully - all the people involved in this shameful era are now nowhere near the club. Johnson, Byrne are all gone. Time to forget about this and get with not going bust/getting relegated.

This comparison has lost me
All sentences are the same as murder except for murder which doesnt always have a specified length it usually is life which is determined by the parole board but they sometimes give full lifewhich they would with serial killers. Other prison sentences are usually dealt with a dtermined lengthGood, as should it for everyone, but there was a post earlier saying it should have been sentenced like murder or something similar.

Bring him home. Honestly, tin hat on, I'd have him back
That Grame rix chant was class by heartswhich club do you think will take him on since he's on the sex offenders register for life?
sure the likes of Rix (who was on the register for 10 years) found work after he was released but as time has passed (and changed with social media as it is now) he's not been able to get a job for any club since he was given the flick from hearts over 10 years ago... I personally can't see it and sincerely hope he isn't afforded the opportunity.

Off the top of my head, couldn't say but his done his time, so being on the sex offenders register doesn't make a difference to playing football for a club.
It will have a ban on working with them if they are under 18 i would guess originally he was given six years in May 2016. The community work would not need to interfere he would just need to avoid that bit, it is not part of his sentenceIt does when you consider the community work that is expected of footballers these days and the integration with members of the academy.

If we had a seventeen year old who is first team ready that wuld be amazing remember its Sunderland where 23 is still youngIf a 17-year-old wonderkid is deemed ready for the first team by the manager who gets dropped?
