Once he's done his time he should be allowed to get on with his life, lets see what happens come March 2019, it's pointless getting your knickers in a twist over some bullshit article.

not at all. the parole board will decide if there is a reasonable risk or not. do you seriously think for a second that AJ would be tapping up underage lasses again? he was just a horny moron who thought he could bend the rules when presented with an opportunity. he isnt a predator with a specific interest in kids ffs

The fact someone doesn't have a specific interest in children doesn't mean they're not a risk to kids.

And he could be released from prison but still pose a risk to kids in certain roles. Would you be ok with him teaching a year 11 school football team upon release?

im not asking you to find sympathy. you think he has gotten off lightly for what he did, what extra knocks should he have taken?
Did I say he’d got off lightly. He got a jail sentence which he deserved. He abused a position of trust which he’s now lost through his own actions. That sounds about right to me

the parole board would determine that there wasnt a risk as a condition of release. he obviously isnt going to coach a year 11 football team so its a ludicrous suggestion. should drink drivers be banned indefinitely from drinking, or driving, just in case?

If a drink driver is given a custodial sentence they should be banned from driving up until the full term of their sentence is complete, yes.

you said “poor little lamb”, which directly insinuates that you think he has had an easy ride. now you are agreeing that he has paid the right price. and he should be able to go back to work just like any other released con.

if they are released early the parole board has decided that they arent at reasonable risk of reoffending. who does your stance benefit?

kinda...

he'll be initially on parole assuming he's released early, so will have to follow what his parole terms and parole officer says and then he's on the sex offenders registry for life which was also part of his sentence.

it will be interesting what he does do and what employment opportunities he's afforded and by whom.

 fuckin hell man.
???

He was assessed as a very low risk of reoffending, he fancied a lass who looked, acted and dressed like an early 20 year old lass, his mistake was not running a mile when he learned her age, infact her age had no bearing whatsoever in his offending, it was his own thoughts of self entitlement, the fact she was 15 wasn't a factor in him fancying her, you are acting like he's a predatory peadophile, he isn't.

LOL

he was convicted of one count of sexual activity with a child and pleaded guilty to another count on the same charge. also convicted of one count of grooming. he's also lost appeals on both the conviction and sentence.
he knew her age and knew it was an offence to fiddle with her as his browsing history proved and yet he still kept on grooming her. it wasn't an impulsive, spur of the moment act.

some say his sentence is harsh, i really don't care. he rolled the dice, got caught and is paying and will pay the price for the rest of his life while rightly on the register.

I haven't said otherwise.
