Just looked at the League table

Reminds me of every time I talk Sunderland with one lad in particular. He's all if this, if that and I'm all but we didn't.
We argue like fuck over if. I'm all what happened and he's all if it happened.

Not really my point ... it’s still really close. A win or two - as Coleman has achieved during the last few games - could dramatically change things. We still have 20+ games to play so shouldn’t call relegation just yet. Surely the last 10 years has taught us that at least ?

After Monday really fear the worst, everyone around us scrapping, we just seem to hit a brick wall at home & it seems like its been forever.

I had a sharp intake of breath, and was immediately taken over by a feeling of impending doom about my club.
I have never felt this low in over 40 years of supporting Sunderland.
Before you give me comments about McMenemy years etc, even then, there was something there, not a lot but I didn’t feel like this!
I am deeply deeply worried like never before. I just can’t see a way out of this mess, from the top to the bottom of the club.
Is there a way back?
Probably need to win 1 in 3 just to stay up.

Absolutely no chance.

Back down to Division Three we go.

The internet and social media make it seem worse now. It isn’t.

Bring on division 1 man. If we're going to be shite we might as well be really really shite. I've had enough after the last 5 years anyway. Lets f***ing go down, get rid of everyone, go into administration, fold completely, whatever it takes, end this! We will come back one day!
Aye this. I agree entirely. Purge the place once and for all.

To be honest I've never looked, where are we? Mind you I wont moan on any part of the site until we are down.

i'd love to agree and share some glimmer of optimism, however we are utter, utter shit. there is not one glimmer of a half competitive team, or player. we dont look anywhere near dominating a game or even playing well enough to say at the end 'we deserved to win'. the Forest match was shite, thankfully Forest were shitter on the day, however they can afford it as they have the points on the board. every single match is a complete struggle. we dont play well at all, not even in patches. we look slightly more organised since cookie came in, however with the defenders we have we can be organised as much as we want but there is always a stupid mistake just around the corner that the manager has no control over. there is no glimmer of hope, no player who might have a decent game and win us a match. its fucked. pure and simple. something absolutely drastic would have to happen in all aspects of the team, all at the same time, over the space of 20 games. its a 1 in a million chance.

I've literally just checked the table. I absolutely f***ing despise Ellis Short. What an absolute thundercunt he is. Bottom of the f***ing Championship and on for our second worst finish in history. The man can not be gone too soon.

You’re right of course, but the big negative factor is, we’ve never - possibly in our history - had a team as bad as this. Looking back, some of the players in the last 10 years have been world beaters by comparison. I can’t see us getting 2 or 3 wins in a row, which is what we are starting to need, with this lot, can you? I think Coleman will work a miracle if he keeps us up. I hope he does of course.

It's not looking good, but slightly better than we were a few months ago under Grayson. Yes it's hard to see, but we've at least won a few and showing glimpses of some organisation. I think if we'd stuck with Grayson, we wouldn't just be bottom, we'd be cut adrift by 8 or 9 points by now. We've got a fighting chance to stay up & I think we'll do it. This mess of a club will take years to sort out so I'm bearing with it :)
