Wonder how much this is impacting the takeover discussions.....whose hand does it strengthen? Ashley's or Stavelys?

Both will be shocked at how bad Rafa has been over the last few months, he really is choking under the pressure of another relegation battle. Will he have his pants pulled down again, like Big Sam did to him last time Newcastle were massive favourites to stay up.

I can laugh at billionaire Bernie Ecclestone because he's a 'soon to die' dwarf with a wife who looks down on him and will cop all his money.

I can laugh at Newcastle because, despite thinking King Rafa would have them competing in the PL, they could be bottom at Christmas.

I laughed at Newcastle when I walked from Central Station to SJP, under di Canio, and they were singing about us going down.

I laughed louder when we did the return walk, having won 3-0, and knowing they were shitting their pants.

They were above us then and we laughed ....... I'm laughing at them shitting their pants now.

Or are you saying we can only laugh when we're above them?

To me, the way they're sliding down, is reminiscent of their last messiah. Comfortable lead at the top last time, thrown away. This time hurtling down the table, losing their cushion over the bottom three.

This messiah, famous for what he's done elsewhere, the last one famous for coming off his bike in Superstars.

You just know that as the noose tightens, Rafa will get his usual good result v Everton and Allardyce.
Everton are very hit and miss and I can't help feeling the mags will score early on and romp to an easy win.
