How did he hoy the cash about? Relatively low sums spent there taking into consideration amount spent over duration in post.

Compared to the cash some of our recent managers wasted like monkeys spraying shit up a wall, it was peanuts. Peanuts, monkeys - see what I did there?

He never really though. He'll have had an idea of what it would take for us to be competitive. Keep us up this year and promotion challenge next year. We were told a fundamental change of the club is needed and thats what Karanka would have wanted. Imo, they've heard what he's had to say and shit themselves at the thought of it. He would be manager now if they werent and I doubt he'll have been too unrealistic. So now we'll end up by looks of it, with a manager that's anything but fundamental change and someone who does ok with no money and will tow the line more. That's more like it for Short and Bain.

He spent over £30m the year they got promoted, which back then was a huge amount for a championship club

Expose the negligence and absolutley pathetic way it's being ran. They won't want anyone with too much of an opinion, on how they should be doing better or solving these issues.
