Grayson: Not worried about being in relegation zone

Our owner has given up and wants out marra :that's all there is to understand about this season , Grayson and our squad.

The things you describe would be important to an owner who had ambitions for the club - our lad just wants us off his hands.

Exactly so. Mind, if there ever was any offer made to him in the summer, I'd say he made a massive error in not taking it. He won't be getting it again .

I've honestly past caring, didn't even listen to the match on the radio.

I thought after Moyes putting a downer on the club then only way was up for morale but it wasn't

Now we have another spanner in and I bet he gets a full season and we go down...

can only assume that the prospective buyers in the summer wanted to get the club cheap then cash in on Pickford and keep as much of the parachute payments as possible . Ellis is perfectly capable of doing that himself !

Even back then or even earlier with the 0-3 defeat at St Jonestone, you could see his faults. And then the we have a striker lined up and alternatives ready if it falls through. What happened to that plan!

Unimaginative recruitment. Incapable of casting the net wide enough. Said it when Grayson was appointed he wasn't the man for the job.

“The position will only become a worry when you’re still in it and it’s mathematically impossible to catch the teams above you,” said Grayson, who has guided his side to just one league victory from his 12 games in charge.

that just backs up his remit - keep us up if you can. It also shows that promotion is off the agenda as it would cost them more in wages and the price would go up.

Of course he's not worried, knows he will never get a top job and earning his wages every week for doing nowt and spinning the same old lines every week in press conference. If he walks or sacked he will just go back to his usual Championship clubs, 1 of them will have him.

the only man whose not.
blokes losing credibility by the minute

him and the team are a shambolic disgrace ... disgrayson if you will

his job is to keep us up man. They have no intent on going up as its about stopping losing money. The level we play at now is secondary.

If we go down this season it's at least 2 more years to get back in the prem where the money is thats 3 years out. Stay up and we could go up next season - 2 years out and parachute payments. If we go down this year it will be a feckin disaster.

Please sack him, SAFC

“At least we’d win some games, a chance to clear out the deadwood” blah blah blah

if we go down it will not be good for everybody associated with the club - but short gets 2 more payments regardless plus about another 10 million player sales. I think the parachute payments are 2 x 40 million so that 90-100 million due which is more than his offers in the summer....no wonder it was better to keep us and cut all costs to minimum.

He needs the parachute payments to run the club. When they stop we are in deep shit thats why it's important to get back in the prem asap.

£37m next season and £17m the one after. Those payments, by the way, are part of the security for the SBC loan. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that that the club are under extreme pressure to ensure that the loan is reduced so that it's always less then the future payments due.

Or reduce costs to normal Championship levels.
