I’m happy that Newcastle spent money and invested in players so that we were promoted. Seems to me that that’s a good idea. Interesting to see how your plan pans out though. Still lots of points to play for.

It's a Sunderland match thread ffs ..... is this really the very best thing you have to do in your life?

Interestingly Sunderland have 8 points from 12 games. That’s 0.66 per game. Extrapolated over the season that’s a total of 31 points.

Blackburn were relegated last season with 51 points

How much of an impact do you think this is having on my life? Wife is out shopping with the children. I’m watching football on TV, while having a beer, and messing about on my phone. It’s rare that I have nothing to do on a Saturday afternoon. Quite enjoying myself thanks.

So you have the chance to spend some time with your family and you'resitting at home on the piss watching telly which, presumably, you'll be doing again tomorrow.

Not much of a life to impact on tbh.

Awful first half.

Looked better after Vaughan went off. The spell just before the equaliser and just before Watmore went off was great. We were pushing forward with passion and fight and looked much improved. If we can just harness that and play like that for longer, we'll do ok.

It's Saturday night and you spend it on a rival forum aimlessly looking for bites, is this the best you can do in life? I've given up abit myself. Log off and gan down the pub and talk to fellow mags. Just a thought.

I’ve just opened a beer. Hardly “on the piss”.

And they’re out shopping for material for a few hours. I can cope with missing that.

My life’s fine mate. Just enjoying not being at work.

It’s half five mate.
And we’ve come to the MILs for the weekend so no mates around. I don’t fancy a night out in Carlisle tbf

Agreed. Not every team has lucky as fuck fans. I bet if they did they’d appreciate their owner.

Really lucky that we've been relegated twice in the last 8 years. Jammy bastards we are.

Does this place still appreciate the owner that gave them a cup final 3 years ago or give them the best streak they've ever had against their rivals? Oh and only having one relegation on his owner CV?
