But a great lad for his day. I watched from the main stand paddock in those days.

We used get beside the tunnel. Once the heroic Charlie Hurley had found his skills ineffective Dickie came in and a less subtle but sometimes more effective style would do the trick. Rather like Dominic Sharkey.

Was it Norwich he got 5 against, missing a sitter for 6? My girlfriend shoved her hands over my eyes for the 5th. Got my own back after the match with more carefully placed hands.
