Non League Football

Belter at Southport with spenny. 94th minute winner. Marvellous. Just on our way back now. Canny place

How do you go about going away - a mate and I are thinking of watching Spenny down at York or Harrogate. Is it just as simple as turning up on the day and going to the away end? Or do you get tickets through the club?

We watched Brandon lose out 2-3 to Easington. The second goal for Easington was a cracking free kick.

Spenny over their slight wobble?

Aye looked solid. Southport were Canny, it was competitive in poor conditions. Element of fortune about the winner but can't say they didn't deserve it. Winnable match next weekend too

9 times out of 10 you pay on the door and it's not segregated so you just stand with the spenny fans. Might be the odd game (darlo away) where you need a ticket. It's generally very easy

Saw that. The tickets for Hartlepool sold out within 90 minutes yesterday morning, with 2 lads queuing from 2am.
Crazy that  There's a post on Shields Twitter saying that the Hartlepool fan who bought two tickets for home end to return them for a refund as they won't get in on Saturday

Just managed to get tickets in the away end for Saturday.

Pools have sold their allocation. Fair few people who queued didn't get tickets
Hope their not nos 2728 and 2729 ;)

I took it for granted they had posted their tickets on social media, but the craic is he flashed his Poolie season card after buying the tickets, like he wanted everyone to know he pulled a fast one.....:lol:

Should be a cracking match on Saturday with a memorable atmosphere.
More tempting to watch them than Sunderland at the moment.

I know - another Shields thread blah blah blah - Sunderland forum etc.
Will never understand how a sunderland fan can just stop giving a shit about us and go and choose go watch another team when we're playing.

Or in some cases just give up on us and support someone else.
