"Ashley has, on a number of occasions proven his loyalty to friends and colleagues at Newcastle."

Dear me, so you're claiming you now believe that loyalty to 'friends and colleagues', as you stated, is a bad thing ........ and you had the nerve to post this earlier,
"If your argument consists of quibbling over semantics, don't you think it's a bit silly?"

I didn't at any point state that loyalty to friends and colleagues is a bad thing. Indeed, loyalty can be good, sticking by a friend in the face of criticism. Or bad, sticking by a colleague whose performances at work would have seen them binned off by less loyal employers.

You're the one quibbling over semantics Reiver.

All I said was that counter to previous claims, Ashley has shown loyalty in the past.

Of course it's true you helmet.
Prove it and I'll apologise.

I would just like to say that after years posting on here under a number of names, I have today put another poster on ignore for the very first time.
I cannot stand his boring babbling anymore. He can stick his pretentious waffle where the sun don't shine.

Absolute drivel day after day ..... you're not even convincing yourself.

I don't have the time to spare wading back through hundreds of your posts. If you're denying it you must have problems with your memory, you might want to get that checked out. But in any event I'm sticking you on ignore now along with circa 30 other mag wums. Leaving only Osborne and maybe one or two others worth "talking" to.

I cannot understand for the life of me, any mag, including the decent posters on here, why they're on a Sunderland forum as often as they are. Fair enough they've commented on a mag topic on this occasion. I just find it strange why they always seem to be on when I log on

Sadly me too mate, in all these years I've never done that but the posts are just relentless unmitigated drivel.

I have Mag friends on here, so it's not that, but it's just a constant series of avoiding points where he's wrong and the inevitable descent into 'grammatical nuance and semantics'.

Humourless drivel, tbh.

I really admire eloquence and a subtle use of the language, especially on a level I can't aspire to.

But the battering ram this dope uses to cram in the most inappropriate words & phrases makes me cringe.

It's pitiful ...... lacking humour and painfully forced.

The forum is supposed to be fun, something he manages to miss despite his inevitable flurry of

Probably exe Sunderland fans who defected to the shit tip when the Messiah was appointed in 1992

@T_Bone @garyswc @Reiver

I'll put my neck on the line here and guess you're all discussing that fat jacamo kitted out wanker The Whale, he's a fuckin shambles of a man. In his 50's and spending almost every moment of his life on here.

This forum has improved no end since I chucked him and the other wankers on ignore.

Someone who speeds on here, to uphold the 'truth' about NUFC is obviously demented and quite sad.

I've never been in any doubt that whatever I post is disregarded as drivel by many, dismissed as lies by others and opposed by the rest.

If I stopped posting today no one would miss me.

Yet this lunatic really believes he's 'righting wrongs' and fighting the good fight for his shambles of a club.

And yet there are Sunderland posters who refuse to believe they're deluded

Corrected it for you, pretty boy.

'purported ' is being generous to the pathetic attempts at subterfuge from the pretend Sunderland supporters on here.

We all know who they are yet they plough on with their pathetic pretence ...... I really couldn't be f***ing bothered tbh.

The difference between those sad bastards and many of us on here, is that we actually have real mates on here.

I've got tickets for people and had people get me tickets, shared transport with people,, met several for drinks and a small number have become proper mates.

As opposed to sad bastards who come on here to wind people up via their keyboard ....get a life springs to mind

A mystery of a thread this one, (to me anyway, I haven't a clue about the workings of HMRC and so on ), but it's one I like having a look at. Tremendous really and the lifeblood of a message board I'd say: taking as much enjoyment as possible out of a rival's discomfort , especially when we are so shite. Every crumb is a comfort.

So to try and educate mesell I called into to see a mate who used to work as an accountant. Company Law and all that sort of stuff anarl, God knows, but he was always a clever fecker. He's an ex ST holder at the hotch potch who gave up when they were safe in the league and just hoying cup games away. As old as me and that's saying something, so he has seen more shite than sugar.

Anyway I asked him what he thought about this story. He told me that he had followed it since it broke again last week but says that there is no way as yet to know what, if any, charges might be brought. He did reckon though that the revenue would be unlikely to have raided in the first place without a reason. Probably a very good one he thinks. He also said that the amounts involved, which might not be all that much in terms of the club's financial position, are not necessarily the only or even possibly the most important factor they will be looking at. What he called intent, and whether any fraud was systemic might be just as important to them, unless the numbers were really vast, which he doubts, but is just guessing at. Also expects many other clubs to be caught up in it but expects that lot to to suffer most unless much more emerges.

His thinking now is that the revenue will want some blood, and will get it. The extent is impossible to say, but he says, as a few on here have that any sale of the club is unlikely until it is resolved. Interestingly, he mooted the thought that if there was a quickish sale it might mean that Fat Mike is bailing out at a loss while he can.

He is as bothered as I am now, so not much, but although what he said won't be news to some I thought it worth posting. He's a good lad, and I was happy with his prognosis, so I paid him for his consultation with a bag of books, which was the main reason really for me popping in. Bloody accountants man, they'll buy nowt!

Sadly, these people actually believe they have real mates on the board and that what they say actually counts.

The zombie I've just put on ignore treats the place like a courtroom where he can wriggle out of things on a grammatical technicality.

The trouble is that the more he posts the dafter he looks

Is it the fish your on about?

I put him on ignore ages ago if it is, proper helmet.
