How do you know how much was made/received given the accounts havent been released yet

They dont know.

Its just lies used to have a pop at Ashley and defend their beloved Rafa.

When he eventually does leave the cry fest of their lot will be spectacular.

I have no problem with any supporter defending holding their manager on a pedestal, but given the info on google Mike Ashley effectively stopped the club going bust by giving them £millions to pay off huge debts. They owe him the money instead interest free and the Sports Direct advertising is in lieu of interest payments on that loan.

Obviously common sense doesnt come into it

The majority of most club's fans, outside the top 6, Think that all a manager has to do is ask for Money and they'll be allowed to buy whoverer...

For all of ashleys many and varied faults he is the one who probably prevented us from heading down the administration path. Furthermore, his skill at running a business means that we make small profits every year whilst avoiding flagship signings with excessive wage

I really don't know what those behind the banner were hoping to achieve. I don't think Benitez needed it in writing that the supporters are right behind him. I don't think Ashley needed to know that in writing either. It's pettiness all round IMO. The clubs who take away banners that show dissent, the fans behind this who thought they'd be geet clever by writing it in Spanish so the stewards wouldn't know. Ashley hasn't turned out to be the type of owner most supporters would want, but he did stop us from going into financial meltdown when he took over from the previous lot. That's something we should be grateful for.

Its an opportunity for certain fans to show the world what great supporters they are and how much they really really love Rafa.

I think Ashley is a f***ing awful human being but hes stabilised that club from the perilous position it was in under Shepherd. Thats largely forgotten though.

The club retweeted the banner and message yesterday so either someone is getting sacked or they're not arsed.

I don't think it's forgotten. His litany of mistakes isn't balanced by the good he's done on the financial side, I'm afraid.

Of course it's not forgotten, but keep pushing that narrative if it helps you sleep at night.

Far from it.

But most detest him, cockney mafia, fat bastard get out of our club etc.

Benitez can do no wrong, Ashley can do no right.

Apart from it isnt is it?

Imagine living on this forum as a mag

I've criticised Benitez on here and given Ashley credit on here, man. But aye, he can do no wrong and Ashley can do no right.

Standard sign-off from someone losing the discussion as well. 'OMG YOU LIVE ON HERE'
