Neither am I, I just honestly think he shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath. Carragher is right he looks for weaknesses & strengths but surely every manager worth his salt does this?

In my eyes fat Sam is a fraud, yes he kept yous up & yes we *probably would of stayed up had we not sacked him. I know hes lauded on here as a hero by most, but its just my opinion of him.

Literally who really gives a toss!! There are FAR too many people on this board that are more concerned about what Newcastle are up to rather than how we are doing.

Listen I get it, it’s our closest neighbours and I despise the twats as much as anyone.

But it’s becoming borning, who gives a toss what they are up to?

Seems weird to me that a lot of people spend an awful lot of time debating what’s happening up the road.

Personally for me, I care about our club and what we do and secondly I have a look to see how they get on. I don’t feel the need to pour over their transfers, after match manager interviews or any other such shite they get up to.

Don't talk so f***ing stupid he sets his teams up like Benitez hard to beat looking for the counter attack looking for weaknesses looking for set pieces it's not that different.
Allardyce has never had the opportunity at the big clubs with the massive budgets I'm sure if he had that lucky break he would have won a few trophies

You lot do make yourselves look silly at times with your blind love affair with Benitez

The mags are obsessed with having a 'big name' in charge. They will cut Benitez far more slack than any other manager and I'd wager he'll not get them as far as Pardew did who they slaughtered.

And so do most managers, I could say the same about the blind love that the majority on here seem to have for Sam.

If hes that good how come he aint had a chance at a 'big' team? Don't say England have you seen who the current manager is. I never mentioned trophies, fact is its only my opinion and in reality it means fuck all. But the blokes a fraud.

f***ing hell man - you can’t mention the two managers in the same breath. One has won cups everywhere he has gone - the other is a “survival specialist” (closely followed by borderline ruin when he departs a la Redknapp)
