Simon Grayson - please go now. Cheers.

Nothing wrong with what he said. I welcome his honesty.

No, he said people will start coming out of the woodwork being critical despite not going to games. He’s right. You only have to look on here to see that.
Are you suggesting there are people on here that don’t attend the games? That’s an outrageous slur. Anyway, there’s a fair few travelling tomorrow so it’s up to him to get it right or he will find out what a real backlash feels like. Hope he brings his tin hat as well as his A-game.

I can't go but I would take on anyone with nous about football. I would take Grayson on, anytime, anywhere about football

It's an insult

He does realise that nearly every game has been viewable this season. Even just watching the highlights on the safc website shows that we’ve been well beaten in some games and I’m assuming that those highlights are edited to make us look good!

Obviously feeling the pressure and was probably reeling early on in the season when the fans were singing the players weren't fit to wear the shirts. It was already a shit job and as results have got worse he is finding himself increasingly isolated. The fans hang on and seize every single negative comment our managers make and don't ever let them go, right to the end when they finally get the boot.

The speed of hatred on here for him isn't surprising anymore and it will be exactly the same for the next manager that signs up who is given a shit hand by Short.

The cycle of sacking managers every 5 minutes has got to stop but it's clear unless a manager makes an amazing start and dares not say anything remotely negative, the fans aren't going to wait and see, let alone try their best to be supportive.

So Grayson thinks that critical Sunderland fans are "coming out of the woodwork" and they "don't know what it's like to go to Ipswich on a Tuesday night".

Big mistake.

In fact, a fatal mistake to turn on the fans.

Thousands of Sunderland fans know exactly what it's like to travel all over the country on a Tuesday night.
And they'll be there long after this idiot has been sacked.

They didn't know what it was like to be below Burton Albion until
Grayson arrived mind you.

And they're not coming out of the woodwork. They're disappearing into it to hide from this shambles of a team.

He's turned on the fans after 10 games - in fact he mentioned moaning fans after the 9th game v Cardiff.

He sat there today and in all seriousness said that the Ipswich game was close.

He f***ing said that they were on the ropes at 4-2 up.
He did. He really did say that.

He said that we had chances to get something from the game.

We conceded 5 goals man you f***ing prick. We needed to score 5 goals to get a draw.

So what do the happy clapping morons think of this then? Stick with him for stability?

He's worse than Moyes. By a distance. There I've said it.

Fuck off Grayson. Fuck off from our club now.
Calm down pet

So we have had 10 years of premiership football and a league cup final, but now we are 2nd bottom of the Championship fans are coming out of the woodwork.

Daft twat, really need that win tomorrow.

Simon you arrogant, cocky little shit, let's get something cleared up here. When you are winning games, are filling the stadium and are not worrying about relegation from the Championship in September then fire away; feel free to say what you want about the fans.

However I really don't think you are in a position to say jack shit at the minute about the fans, especially with the start that you have had, the signings YOU have made, team selection, your tactics and more importantly the number of people who now prefer to go shopping/walk the dog/go out with the missus rather than take up their usual position at the SoL on a Saturday afternoon or travel away to all parts of the country in their thousands.

The armchair fans you are referring to were the fans who turned up to fill the stadium and support and will on Jermaine Defoe and the team to beat Chelsea at home only a couple of seasons ago.

For information, I have held a season ticket since 1976 and have seen many, many games, home and away. I supported the lads in the the relegation season from Div 2 and enjoyed the football we played in Div 3 because I could see passion. Players then gave a shit. I also am entitled to my opinion.

What have I seen since you have been in charge? Well I shall tell you. I have seen players who have no idea about what you want them to do. I have seen teams who don't really care. I have seen teams who are so unbalanced, lacking in know how, confidence, ideas and options - it is embarrassing. You have no idea and are clearly out of your depth.

So Simon I would suggest you wind your feckin neck in, keep quiet, try to win the odd game now and again, but more importantly get down on your feckin knees and beg the good people called Sunderland supporters to turn up and support your shit team and ignore the fact that you are fuckin clueless and by far the worst manager to have been in charge since I bought my first season ticket in 1976 ( and that includes Lawrie Mac as at least I could see what he was trying to do, it just didn't work).

No amazing starts required. A plan of progress, which can be seen from consistent team selection and formation to be played.

Plus and I know this is wildly optimistic, maybe score the first goal in a home game at least once out of five attempts.

No cups need winning, no championships need to be dominated, however I have an expectation that Sunderland are better than second bottom in the league.

Unrealistic?

Sounds a lot like self-preservation to me. He’s gone super schmuser to biggest loser in just 10 games. If ever a shock result was needed it’s 4th v 23rd tomorrow.

Of course it could be a plan to take the heat off Bain and Short. Tomorrow should be “interesting”. If this continues I reck9n it might only be a matter of time before the whole lot gans up:evil:

I want a safc win tomorrow and will be backing them against my nous, as I want to celebrate.

However this sod needs shooting with shit and for once, I will gladly lose and get rid.

Sorry maximus as I know you go all over following safc, it's just a personal opinion.

He has spoken as if safc are some, Johnny come lately club, with fans, that should be grateful for his presence

He got that one wrong. We see bullshit and call it out.

He would have a point, if by his management, there was the slightest glimmer of hope
