Trajectory suggests some sort of angle. It's just a vertical fallFrom the Chelsea amd Everton games 16 months ago to this. The trajectory is frightening.
Sleeping Giant iircAnd it’s f***ing heartbreaking.
What when we also signed MVilla as well asNDong, two for the price of one? Me neither...Who remembers the good old days when Ellis blew us out of the water?
Me neither.
You got lucky for a change. Wish we could play you to kick start this season off![]()
A canny average in Division One TBF.Next season under 20k crowds
Ok chompy, calm downOr last season. It seems that there was little interest from both Sunderland players and supporter when we didn't share a league together last year.
A canny average in Division One TBF.
He's of those fans who treat the club like a cult mate. We have far too many of them. We're hurtling towards league one. That would mean more redundancies, less money, more debt, smaller crowds....and you don't think thats dying a death?
We've also got the lowest win percentage of anyone in the football league since 2013Been 280 days since we won at home man![]()
I said DIVISION ONE not the Championship. It will be a very good average NEXT season.it's not "canny" in any way, shape or form and we need to get away from this idea asap. We're beginning to accept the loss of 25,000 fans just as quickly as we accepted the loss of our premier league status.
Like what? We had a c couple of good season, but we have been also rans for almost my entire lifetime and I am pushing 40.It's a shame really, everything is in place to be a top club it's just we don't have the right owner to take it forward.
So have Huddersfield, West Brom, Stoke...Like what? We had a c couple of good season, but we have been also rans for almost my entire lifetime and I am pushing 40.
It just needs the right resuscitation to bring it back to life.it dying a slow death thanks to twat Ellis
We have a big stadium, big fan base which was top 6 in the Prem I believe and the academy. Sunderland does not deserve to be where it is, it's only because of the owner not taking us in the right direction unfortunately. It's a shame to see us as we are mainly because I know it's not going to turn around to where we should be in a few years, it will take a very long time.Like what? We had a c couple of good season, but we have been also rans for almost my entire lifetime and I am pushing 40.
Agree in part that Short hasn't helped but I think its also fair to say that the club has been in decline for years. For those of us oldies who can remember the Era of Cowie And Batey fighting over the club, McMemnemy, etc, the club has been pulled apart by lack of proper investment and lack of planning and ambition for many years. Am surprised that so many people, i.e.e the fans, have kept faith with the club and havnt walked until watching the dross over the last couple of years. Heart breaking. It's a shame really, everything is in place to be a top club it's just we don't have the right owner to take it forward. Short has made mistake after mistake, it would be interesting to know where we would have ended up if we had an owner who knew what he was doing, obviously we'll never know. The club is finished, will take many years to put right.
