You’ve gone from administration is definitely happening to the staff are guessing based on the two points above.

Truth is, unless the staff member you know sits on the board, then they really don’t know.

I’d say I’m in a similar situation with my job. It’s was announced a while ago that who employs me is under review. It’ll either be the company I work for, or a third party.

Ever since that announcement, the rumours have been flying, from it’s definitely happening to massive job losses to just last week where the last third party involved has definitely pulled out. Truth is though that no-one on the ‘shop floor’ knows what’s going on.

Workplaces like this are always full off rumour, this is just the latest one. I’m pretty confident we’re a long way off administration right no.

The whole admin thing is really starting to piss me off. It started as a daft rumour (probably by a mag on here) and it's grown despite folk being told it's shite

I think the issue is mate; money is so tight that should Short decide to pay himself back, there would be no money to keep the club going and we would be dependent on overdrafts etc (which I imagine would require Short anyway).

Yet folk still fail to grasp that admin is not in the interests of Short; not to mention SBC would need to be involved.

Sadly people at the club are going to lose their jobs a couple of months before Xmas, but the admin thing is just crap

Yes. I think the point I was trying to make before being put on my arse by the Grump, under the letter of the law and based on publicly available info it makes little sense.

But there's an awful lot more variables we can't estimate, guess or forecast.
 
On talksport yesterday......Gray said he had been talking to a couple of fans who said the club was going into administration.....!

Gray posted on Twitter and within 30minutes received a phone call from a certain lady from the club telling him to delete the tweet......!

He isn't banned from the stadium this time though was his parting words.

This was said live on talksport

He's not lying though is he? Lots of people who work at the club seem convinced that administration will be happening, its just a case of when it's announced, not if. Lad I know has just rapped his job in working in the commercial department and took a job with a lower salary elsewhere, people are fearful for their jobs and say they will be next to nobody left working there in next few months.

Ah fuck you’ve reported me!

This is a bit rich though. I tired to engage in the conversation and I didn’t really say an awful lot wrong in my first response. Your reply was to tell me to fuck off back to lurking. Who was being the baby there?
 
Everything Micky Gray says is true of course, that's why he never has to backtrack !

Anyway, the rumoured date wherever the rumour started was tomorrow, so we'll all know for sure then.

For my part, I do think a takeover/sale is potentially on at some point, I don't think we are anywhere near administration.

Astute, thanks for the compliment. You seem to keep insinuating that you know stuff. Obviously I don't know if you do or not. The questions are my way of poking a stick shall we say, no offence intended.
