Worked out some stats for Rodwell last night which may as well be fed to the larger audience on a match thread

Since he left City 5 years ago he has played 80PL games, thats 12 per season on average, in that time he has earned £15.5M so he's earned £195,000 per appearance. If you add in the transfer fees he comes at a net cost of something approaching £450,000 per appearance

That is the equivalent of each attending supporter personally handing over at least £10 to him each match.

As I said in a previous thread, if you have a season ticket for 60 years, your lifetime contribution towards the club does not even cover his wages for a week.
