I personally thing the decision to market the third kit as a tribute to the miners is shocking.

Designed in charcoal is is supposed to represent our mining history.

Or is it just to sell our shit at 50 quid a pop?

If they cared so much there should have been a contribution from each shirt to the benevilant fund or something.

We are just sitting back and letting short take the absolute piss out of us.

I very much doubt it had anything to do with short and if people are daft enough to buy it.....

I think they've received all the shirts then the marketing team have sat down and tried to figure out a campaign. Home shirt has thin stripes. Hmm what can we do with that? Oh I know, we had thin stripes once 100 years ago, let's say it's about our past. How can we link the other two in? Right this ones grey so it's like coal and let's just find some bloke with something to do with the clubs history to wear this blue one cause I can't think of anything.

If the 3rd kit was a genuine tribute to the history of the area & mining it would be a lot more than f***ing grey. Was the 15-16 away kit a tribute to us having a pitch?
