Grabban & Vaughan

We need to play 4-4-3 like
Grabban in the middle of any 2 from McGeady, Mcmanaman, Watmore and Gooch. Vaughan is not good enough unfortunately and the quicker Maja is fit the better. He surely has to be in front of Vaughan, which seeing as he hasn't played at any senior level before, just shows how desparate we are

Haha was a wind up . Genuinely thought sland would of done better but it's abysmal to be honest we're fucked

Things will pick up. You didnt have a lot to shout about over the summer and the slump has carried on somewhat. You will piece a few results together and things will look up. You will be fine. End of season you will be comfortably mid table.

Grabban like McGeady and Mcmanaman all like to many touches of the ball so slow any forward momentum to a stand still. By the time the ball is released the opposition is positioned to defend.
Vaughan is so poor it's beyond description or understanding what he is doing here. Grabban doesn't give a fuck and we will be hounding him off the pitch in the next few weeks.

I agree totally. We'll probably have a Tyne and Wear derby to look forward to next season mind

That would be nice.

Can't see the FA allowing it though.

Edit: 4-3-3 ffs :oops::lol:

Grabban always moves to hide behind the defender and Vaughan has no obvious strongpoints. These are our two forwards - it doesn't bode well like. Criminal not going all out for a proven goal scorer in the window like
We have two problems here
Grabban needs the ball playing through so he can run onto it. We have no one capable of doing that in midfield other than Mcgeady
Vaughan is just not good enough for this level whatever way we play

Together this is a massive feckin problem coupled with the other 9 massive problems we have in the team

No chance.

I'm embarrassed these two are our strike force. I'd happily put Watmore and Maja up top when they come back, they certainly wouldn't do any worse

I think everyone is in agreement that Vaughan isn't a Championship standard player. I don't see why he just doesn't throw Asoro in until the other two are fit. What's he got to lose by doing it?

Even more criminal letting one of our best ever strikers leave for free.

Nah for me Grabban is decent. Vaughan as predicted is hopeless.

We have needed a striker for about 3 years too.
