Just had a look there and they started the Championship season with a 52k crowd against Huddersfield and finished with 52k v Barnsley. Whatever people want to knock them for, and let's be honest there's plenty, their support isn't one of them.

I envy any club who can turn the club around and stay heading in an upward and positive direction after a bad season. We have one good half of a game and that is all we can muster for success. The rest of our season is just one bit cesspool of bad luck, misfortune and badly made decisions.
 
I envy their delusion, i mock them for it because they're idiots, but they at least think they matter to others.

I'd like to see Newcastle go through what we have as a club and still be the best way fans in the world.
 
We're basically in the same boat and have been for decades. Pissing contest between incontinent geriatrics for all the actual football accomplishment either of us have to show for it. We both have loyal and long suffering fanbases. We've both been sold up the river on several occasions. We both havent won anything for donkeys and have to contrive ever increasingly weird justifications as to how we're still "big clubs".

Our era has gone and won't come again unless someone floods us with money for players. That's all there is to it for both teams. Aside from when we're playing them I couldn't give a fuck.

We have been relegated a lot more frequently recently. Granted not on lowest scores
