@Catts4Life give yourself and us a break.

There is no way you can win the argument here and I would suggest, you come back after the Swansea defeat and start again.

Where are all the long term mags today?

He's a another sad bastard who signs up to a rivals message board and not only that pretends to be one of us. Fuck me how utterly pathetic

Exactly lol he's the worst of the mags pretending to support us. At least the honest ones who are openly mags on here don't try and hide it.

Benitez is in a negative net spend of around £20m since he joined. That means, theoretically, his squad is weaker to the tune of £20m worth of players than the one he inherited.

The gift that keeps on giving.

no one is denying that. they made some big money selling Wijnaldum, Sissoko and Townsend.

The FACT remains, sir rafa has spent £85m on his players.

If I sell my TV for £500 and got to Dixons and buy another TV for £500 have I shoplifted?

No, I still spent £500 on a new TV.

His position is that net spend doesn't matter if there's a large outlay. He argues that Benitez overseeing £105m(?) outgoings and £85m(?) should mean that they should have improved. Yet he can't apply that logic to Barca selling Neymar and spending over £90m on Dembele. I've asked him to explain and all I get is "Meltdown  "
Why the fuck are you even bothering ? Must be very difficult for you using the word 'they', re the Scum when you mean 'we'. No Sunderland fan is that obsessed with facts and figures re Rafa V Ashley. We just enjoy the comedy value YOU provide ! Have another one

This is the time for benitez's world class managerial experience to be shown to the world

If it's true of course, Rafa should be able to do any job, anywhere, without the need of spending £100 million
