It's shit this like. I know we can't start hounding him out but surely, please god, there's something we can do to Ellis Short,whether it be boycotting drinks and food or chanting for him to sell up.

Grayson is getting a lot of stick but he's only working with what he's he's been given.

But talking about driving them away isnt speaking literally - you do understand that don't you?

A manager has to manage the situation. This isn't his doing. He's trying to put the onus on the players to perform or pressure on them thinking he may keep them here and panic them and their agents etc into getting something organised to go.

As for you trying to justify playing khazri - Wtf are you on about? He's not starting him, despite khazri probably being better than owt we have in midfield or attack (even with his suspect attitide). Nor is he playing djilobodji. He is playing kone though. Those comments aren't about justifying playing anyone. Surely you can get you head out of your arse for a minute and see than hat?

Simon Grayson as manager is not the problem at SAFC.

Ellis Short is the problem.

To be successful in today's football requires huge investment. Ellis Short isn't prepared to make the necessary investment.

Haven't missed the last 47 years mate

I've actually been quite happy with Grayson and his signings so far, on the basis that we are building a workmen like team that will compete and play for the shirt
Grayson at the time seemed confident that he would build on this and bring in new faces to add quality. Max Gradel is a good example
Until however a couple of weeks ago when things seem to have changed and his comments now seem to be dampening expectations and playing up players returning from injury. We were never going to spend millions but something has changed hence my comments about being underwhelmed next week

As for your patronizing comments about not taking in whats going on, your right I, like most people on this board haven't a bloody clue whats going on

Answered your own question there. Freebies and the academy will be the way forward next season after we finish lower mid table this one.
 
We just need to look back at previous Ellis Short transfer windows to know what will happen in he final days of this one.

We'll sell or inexplicably loan out our better players, replacements won't be found and any funds acquired will disappear. We'll get maybe one young player on loan just because they're cheap as chips.
