If he hasn't managed Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid they'd want him sacked. He's going to get a big pay off because the fat smelly mags will back him until bad guy ashley bins him off.

Yes Benitez has spent a lot, but amid numerous sales totalling a similar amount. It's one of the few times 'Net Spend' is relevant.

I see this a lot, but it ignores they didn't spend in the years prior. It was over correcting a prior issue, which was poor investment.
