I've got to admit, after working with them for most of my working life, I love a laugh at the mags expense.

What most have them now have trouble with (especially the keegan day glory hunters), is the fact that in football circles, they're no longer seen as a top flight top half of the table side. They're now seen as a yo yo club, with an owner who is unpredictable to say the least. They have to face up to the fact that they're now just one of the promoted sides who will probably struggle this season.

Their failure to recruit decent new players this summer confirms their current stature in the game.

Can only speak for myself, but im not bitter about your manager. I think he used to be decent but is now very much on the slide. There is a reason he wasnt offered anything decent and opted to stay put in the Championship.

I never mentioned big club as it's open to interpretation. The fact is they're not half as big a draw as they once were. They've flirted with and achieved relegation consistently in recent years and the fact that, even with Benitez in charge, they can't attract the players they want, speaks volumes.

If it was my choice, neither, Grayson is an average Championship manager who I personally think will do a job of steadying a sinking ship and nothing more

Rafa was a decent manager but without a huge amount of money would be average. He is no longer wanted by big clubs hence him finally agreeing to stay on in the Championship.

Almost won it all ,he certainly won relegation. More convincingly than Shearer if I remember correctly.

If there was little or no money to spend and in the championship then Grayson. He's never spent much and done reasonably well, where Benitez is a cheque book manager who needs to spend a lot to achieve anything.
