I'd say they are about 8th or 9th in the pecking order, definitely some stronger teams. They are also far better at home - they lost 11 of their 23 away league matches last season with a -9 goal difference, scoring less than a goal a game. Plus they are actually a bit weaker this season, certainly offensively.

We are playing pretty well mind and we deserve to be ahead.

Agree, good omens so far. If Derby are supposed to be a decent team, we'll do well this season.
