Was saying exactly the same thing to the missus a few minutes ago. Her eyes glazed over mind, but I'm enjoying this. At least we are competing, and no more of those shite passing moves back to the keeper from an attacking position that we've had for the last few years.
 
Started by huffing and puffing more than the opposition. Conceded because we are still shite. Kept running around more than the opposition and get a lucky penalty.
 
I'm surprisingly impressed with that first half, apart from the obvious we look ok, a few additions to that team in depth and I reckon it could be a decent season

Wonder if I'm still optimistic at full time
