Joint best goals conceded record and Shelvey got 5 assists in the time we bought him in January till the end of our last premier league season.

It wont be easy, but we've got enough to finish mid table, and then kick on next season with the full force of the TV money.

Site is incorrect, there is an actual youtube video showing his goals and assists last season and he quite clearly gets 12.

Also think the premier league one is wrong too, but even if it isn't 6 assists in 26 games is not bad at all, comes out at about 8 or 9 for a full season. About the same as Adam Lallana.

The key to surviving really is good organisation and team ethic, the manager is very important someone like Sam allardyce would of maybe kept you up, incredibly important and allows a team to perform better than the sum of its parts.

Anyhow regarding the defenders Lejeune played for a La Liga side last year and performed well, he's been great in pre-season so far, Clark and Lascelles have played well and are solid enough and then you have Mbemba who is a very capable CB only 22 yrs old. My worry is left back more than anything don't think Dummett is good enough he should be a back up LB, Manquillo has played well in pre-season so far and between Yedlin and him we're ok in that position, Mbemba can do a job there as well. Another point about the defence is we have Hayden and Merino who are good young ball playing DMs, against top sides we could very easily put 5 in midfield and play counter attack football with the pace in the side

Regarding the striker situation i'd agree we need another striker hopefully that's Lucas Perez who is quality undoubtedly. But really I think we have enough as is because the main thing is to be solid, Southampton, Stoke, West Ham and West Brom didn't have a single player into double figures last year either 7-9 top goal scorer, Mitrovic scored 9 goals when we were relegated so yeah the main worry for me is being tight at the back and I think we can achieve that, have goals from midfield and the wings in Ritchie, Shelvey, Atsu etc they'll chip in
