Live streaming platform unveiled for global EFL fans...

Sounds like you already know? Where did you hear this?

I emailed club and they came back saying they were looking in to it and would announce if any news. I emailed again this week as that was a while ago and haven't heard anything.

Looks like all EFL clubs have the rights to do it, but I think will be down to whether our current website is able or if they can be arsed/have the resource/time to build in an additional platform in to watch and for people to pay for it.

ifollow is a platform most EFL clubs use as their website, which is why they automatically have the function. Clubs with their own website need to build the capability in.
You wonder way the club is in debt it is easy money from me if they show the matches live If they allow international folks like myself buy the package to watch live games on there website...

Where you at like Horatio lad?

I'm baseed in Portland, Oregon. Last few years have been great as NBC had every game live to stream but now we're in the Championship I'm hoping the club offer a solution.

No doubt they'll be weighing up the cost of having the service built into the website against how many subs they're likely to sell. I wonder if they decide against it if they can still join ifollow at the last minute?

Still think it's a disgrace that the one country on earth where you can't watch any English top flight match of your choosing is Great Britain. Barmy.

I've emailed - hopefully they'll announce something. The silence as usual is pretty crap.

Anyway, with the expectation they decide not to do anything, what are the best streaming platforms these days on iPad?

I have also sent them an email to show interest but I would be surprised if they hadn't already sorted this.

I personally think it is deliberate. They know some people will do anything to get an illegal stream and will be scared that the launch of "an official stream site" might reduce season ticket sales (paranoia from the Quinny days). I think they will release something in the next week or so. (But I am not ITK haha)

If they were doing their own the smart thing would have been to offer it with preseason friendlies included to A. Take advantage of any pre season optimism(!) and B test the system they're using.

The price is going to high enough not to impact match attendance IMO

Universal tv hd
Cheers, will have a look. Easy enough to use?

God help us with that. Will they need to add on the mind numbing boredom of the existing SAFC site? How will they get away with showing out of date games?

They aren't filming the games themselves! A company is filming the games once the season starts. Doubt they'd be filming anyone's pre season games.

I didn't suggest they were filming themselves.
However if they aren't using the ifollow platform - that's being used by 60/70 other clubs - to distribute the content they'll be using a more bespoke one, which will need testing.

Our club has decided against it. Lot of overseas fans are a bit unhappy.
I wish we could watch it for that price to be honest
Just been reading an article about prices in the ELF. Sheff Wed are charging their own supporters £49 for Car A game's (Min for an adult ticket). I would think the away price will be similar

Some proper early starts then! All to be repeatedly kicked in the bollocks! Good effort mate.

I paid a fortune but at least I am east coast (not for much longer mind!).
