I've gave up. I'm now deaf and use subtitles.Have you tried the TV settings to ensure its Stereo and not Mono?

Nah. I've swapped tellys. It's the same issue. Just going to buy a new PS4.Perhaps do the TV sound settings fella, might be helpful....

If you pause whatever your watching there should be an audio settings/subtitles bit. Only reason why im saying is it did it on my ps3 and was coming out proper quietI can't find them. Nowt about sound under the cog.

It's not quiet it flicks between being on normal, one speaker or not working at all. Even when playing games it just goes off. Sometimes when I start it up there's no sound. That's why I'm thinking hdmi port as I've changed cables, hdmi ins and TVs.
