Pickford, Defoe, Anichebe, Kirchoff, Borini, Pienaar, Buckley, Lescott, Larsson and Manquillo all leaving and potentially Lens, Kone, Mannone, Khazri leaving too.

Happy we have brought in Browing and Galloway but 7 weeks left and we are dragging our heels with McGeady and Gradel and no main striker being linked.

I trust Grayson to get the players in but is he being held back by Short and our 'negotiations' almost bringing on each player to become a saga?

I honestly hope he isn't classed as our main striker. I would be happy with him don't get me wrong but we can't seriously rate him as our main striker transfer target otherwise that's grim!

That's my point - we won't have new players settled in at all and our start is very tricky.

In his post match comments last night Grayson not only mentioned us being close to bringing in Vaughan but also said he hoped another player would be tied up pretty quickly (presumably McGeady) and that we were in talks with another couple who'd hopefully be signed in the near future.

As always with these things I suspect, in common with a host of other clubs, we've got offers in for a few players and we're waiting for agents, selling clubs etc etc to respond.

So apart from pickford and defoe do you seriously give a toss about any of the others leaving?
What about strengthening by other teams...pretty non existent apart from maybe wolves.
